SELF CARE COST - When you are taking care of yourself.
You are using your own physical strength, mental abilities, on your own time - to take care of yourself. The physical objects used to take care of yourself are paid with your income received by working jobs. Keeping up on your own self-care ensures you can work to afford your own self-care.

NURSING HOME COST - Using caretakers and their facilities to take care of you.
You are not using any of your own physical or mental abilities or your time to take care of yourself. You are paying for multiple employees' income.  It is their job to use their physical, mental, and time to take care of you every day/night. You are paying for their paychecks and to maintain the facility and all physical objects making this your home.

HOME CARE - A family member living with you while taking care of you at home.
You and a family member are both SHARING the physical and mental abilities, and the time to take care of YOU and your HOME. While they are living with you at home, they have their own requirements to use their physical, mental, time to take care of themselves, while working outside the home to receive an income.
- As your caretaking needs increase and your abilities decrease - the physical, mental, and time used will shift over more to the family member. This will take away from their own self-care ...
